A First Look at the SEX AND THE CITY Sequel
Production of the ten-episode series And Just Like That…, the Sex and the City sequel, has begun in New York City, and HBO Max has released a first look image with Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon and Kristin Davis reprising their iconic roles. Chris Noth, Mario Cantone, David Eigenberg, Willie Garson and Evan Handler will also be return to their former roles, and Sara Ramírez will step in as the fourth friend.

The American Horror Story spinoff American Horror Stories, premieres July 15, and FX on Hulu has just released its first trailer. Is it ever deliciously creepy! American Horror Stories is a weekly series that will feature a different horror story each episode, many harkening back to the predecessor’s various seasons.

Get Ready for MY UNORTHODOX LIFE
Here’s a juicy reality series you won’t want to miss. It’s a mashup of The Real Housewives of Whatever and the Netflix limited series Unorthodox. It features the personal and professional life of fashion mogul Julia Haart – former member of an ultra-Orthodox Jewish community turned CEO of Elite World Group. Her children include a TikToker, an app designer, a lawyer, and a high schooler torn between two conflicting cultures. Check out the trailer below, and find details on Netflix. The Top 10 Movies You Streamed Last Week
Amazon’s new The Tomorrow Wars, the sci-fi auctioneer starring Chris Pratt, was the most streamed movie of them all last week. It was followed by the Steven Soderbergh thriller No Sudden Moves, with Don Cheadle, Brendan Fraser and Benicio del Toro was second, and it should come as no surprise that the 4th July classic Independence Day came in third, this being the holiday weekend and all. You Won’t Believe Which TV Series Were Streamed Most Last Week
Looks like animation won the week in the TV series streaming races. Dan Harmon’s Rick and Morty was the most streamed series over the last seven days. It was followed by the AMC dark comedy uncomfortably called Kevin Can F**k Himself, and the mystery/thriller Manifest. Our current favorite, Loki, came in at Number 8. More Good Omens From Amazon
More great TV news! One of my favorite series based on one of my favorite books by one of my favorite authors, has received the green light for a second season. Amazon’s Good Omens, starring Michael Sheen and David Tennant and based on Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman’s international best-selling novel, gets a six-episode second season. Another INTERVIEW WITH THE VAMPIRE
A TV version of Anne Rice’s seminal fiction series Interview With the Vampire is in the works at AMC, this time without Tom Cruise or Brad Pitt, of course. There’s no telling who will be in it, as casting hasn’t been decided yet. All we know is that the first season will be eight episodes long, and it will premiere in 2022. We’ll keep you posted.
FX Goes UNDER THE BANNER OF HEAVEN
This is a big deal, my friends: FX has ordered Under the Banner of Heaven, a limited series inspired by Jon Krakauer’s bestselling novel of the same name (which we found consummately compelling), to be adapted by Academy Award-winner Dustin Lance Black, produced by Ron Howard and Brian Grazer, and starring Andrew Garfield. The GOOD FIGHT is Back for Round 5
Remember when The Good Wife spin-off The Good Fight, starring Christine Baranski, was on CBS All Access? Well, now that streamer has been swallowed by Paramount+, if you follow, and the first episode of The Good Fight’s Season 5 premiers today. To catch you up, the series picks up with Diane (Baranski) questioning whether it’s right for her to help run a Black law firm with Liz (Audra McDonald) when Reddick, Boseman & Lockhart loses two attorneys (Delroy Lindo and Cush Jumbo are leaving the show but will appear in early episodes to wrap up their character arcs). The firm also becomes entangled with a man (new cast member Mandy Patinkin) who has opened an unsanctioned courtroom in the back of a copy shop. New episodes drop weekly.

What could be more fun than a reality show about pricy Australian real estate? Very few things, in our book, so we are all agog over Amazon’s new original series Luxe Listings Sydney. It gives you a glimpse inside some of outrageously stunning homes – from an awe-inspiring property on Sydney’s ‘Billionaire’s Row’ to a multi-million-dollar mansion with a private beach. And of course, you get to see the egos and the glamor behind buying and selling these prestigious properties. Luxe Listings Sydney premieres July 9.
Lakers X 2
There’s not one, but two new series focusing on the NBA’s Los Angeles Lakers. One is a Netflix workplace comedy inspired by the Laker’s front office of the NBA’s Los Angeles Lakers. That one has team president Jeanie Buss attached. The other is from Mindy Kaling, and is also a workplace comedy inspired by the 17-time NBA champion’s family owners and front office.
