We’ll announce nominations on Monday, May 6, and winners will be revealed at a gala ceremony on Sunday, June 2 in Beverly Hills. I’ll keep you updated on everything.

Mike Meyers to Make a Comeback on Netflix!
If you’re missing Mike Meyers as much as I am, you’ll be pleased to know that he’s set to star in and executive produce a new half-hour limited comedy series on Netflix, in which the comedic chameleon will play multiple characters.
“I love creating characters, and Netflix has given me a fantastic playground to play in,” says Meyers. Oh behave!
My New Favorite Reality Show — Animal Cribs
It all started with an invite to a goat yoga party in Griffith Park. There I met the fabulous folks from Party Goats LA, and given a sneak peek at what would be in store in their episode of Animal Cribs, in which Antonio Ballatore and his crew build them a veritable goat palace.
I became a big fan of those goats and of the show. Now in its second season, Animal Cribs follows Ballatore as he builds a variety of animal accommodations, including a den for dragons (of the bearded variety) and a bedroom for horses (so they wouldn’t demand to sleep in their owner’s bedroom—long story).

What Do THIS IS US and THE MARVELOUS MRS. MAISEL Have in Common?
Randall, apparently. Sterling K. Brown just announced that he will be added to Season Three of The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, taking on a role especially written for him.
That should be interesting. Brown is known for his low and slow, deliberate delivery, while Midge belts it out a mile a minute. But as you recall, when last we saw the Mrs., she was ready to go on tour as the opener for a Johnny Mathis-type crooner, so who knows? It might be a good fit. Can’t wait to find out. Go JoJo — The Bachelorette is Now Doing Renos on CNBC…But Wait! There’s More!
CNBC unveiled a summer slate that includes “Real Estate Thursdays,” so guess where my recorder will be set? Premiering Thursday, July 25 at 9pm is Cash Pad starring Bachelorette couple-turned-home flippers JoJo Fletcher and Jordan Rodgers. In this eight episode series, the they’ll partner with homeowners in Dallas, Austin, and Phoenix who are in serious need of extra income and hoping to turn their properties into thriving short-term rentals. Whether they’re transforming a decrepit shipping container, a rundown airstream, or a garage in disrepair, JoJo and Jordan are up for the task of creating one-of-a-kind vacation hot-spots that will provide a life-changing financial boost for their homeowner partners.
Next up is Listing Impossible, bowing Thursday, July 25 at 10pm. This should be a good one: When L.A.’s wealthiest put their multi-million dollar properties up for sale, they sometimes learn that the house of their dreams… isn’t anyone else’s. And as a result their very, um, unique creations can end up sitting on the market for years. That’s where superstar real estate agent Aaron Kirman and his team come in. To fix up the homes and attract the right buyers, they’ll need to tell these owners the cold, hard truth – something the rich and powerful don’t always like to hear.

Now That Disney’s Announced Its Streaming Service, What’s a Viewer to Do?
I don’t know about you, but my head is spinning with the myriad streaming services about to come online. If you want to see the best shows out there now, you already need to subscribe to Hulu, Amazon, Netflix and CBS All Access. Then my head almost exploded when Apple announced its forthcoming lineup—we’ll soon be adding that to our lists.
And then Disney comes up a new streamer carrying an irresistible list of content, all for just $6.99 per month. It’s a deal, especially since they’re gradually removing most Disney shows and movies from the other streamers. But damn! Add cable charges for HBO, Showtime and Starz, not to mention the time it takes to keep up with all these great shows, and you get dizzy (and broke).
I understand there can never be too many options. I’m just saying that I’m going to have to resign myself to not seeing all the fabulous shows everyone’s talking about. I’m resigning myself to a major case of FOMO. Anyone got a cure?

Did you know pundits are actually predicting that box-office numbers will be down this weekend because so many people will be staying home on Sunday night to watch the first episode of the final season of Game of Thrones?
To up that game a bit, I’ve scoured the Realtor.com kingdom to find you 10 of the fairest castles in the land. Who knew there were so many elaborate, castle-style homes out there, and that they’d all be for sale at once? You must see them to believe them. ‘The Umbrella Academy’ Gets a Sophomore Season
If you’re up for something wild, wacky and well produced, tune into superhero saga The Umbrella Academy on Netflix. And if you’re bummed after you’re done binging that it’s all come to an end, fear not! Netflix has just renewed the series for a second season, and all your faves, including Ellen Page, Tom Hopper, David Castañeda, Emmy Raver-Lampman, Robert Sheehan, Aidan Gallagher, and Justin Min, have signed on to return.
What’s it all about? Here’s the scoop:
On the same day in 1989, forty-three infants are inexplicably born to random, unconnected women who showed no signs of pregnancy the day before. Seven are adopted by a billionaire who creates The Umbrella Academy and prepares his “children” to save the world. All grown up now, they family reconnects to sort out their differences and see that mankind abides.
