Fox’s Crime Scene Kitchen (Bet they change the name)
This new Fox reality show has just about everything — mystery, comedy even food! Although it does have a rather unappetizing name, Crime Scene Kitchen will be hosted by Joel McHale, who will oversee two-person baking teams deciphering and re-creating a dessert from crumbs, trails of flour and other small clues left around the kitchen. A $100,000 prize is at stake. Crime Scene Kitchen will June 9 at 9 pm.
Loki — The Best Thing Since The Mandalorian?
If this riveting trailer is any indication, the upcoming Disney+ TV series Loki could well even surpass Wanda Vision and rank right up there with The Mandalorian. Beartown Triumphs!
I knew I was going to like Beartown, the HBO MAX limited series adapted from one of my all time favorite novels, by the outrageously talented storyteller Fredrik Backman. But I didn’t know I was going to go absolutely nutsy cuckoo over it. It’s one of the best things on television right now. The five-episode drama series was masterfully produced in Sweden, and is all the better for it. In US hands it may have been tarted up like a music video, sacrificing story, character and emotion in the process. Trust me, brave the subtitles and you will be utterly captivated by the bears of Beartown.

Now Mattel is making the most of its most famous brands, by developing a fashion design competition called Barbie Fashion Battle, focusing on designing clothes for Barbie dolls. The House Steve Carell Egged in ‘The Office’ is for Sale!

When the pair get to Toby Flenderson’s (Paul Lieberstein) home, instead of delivering the award, Michael yells out “Toby, you suck!” and throws eggs at the front of the house.

New Series is Literally a National Treasure
Disney+ and Jerry Bruckheimer have long been eyeing a National Treasure TV series, and now it looks like they’re about to reach their goal. The streamer has finally given the green light to the series will focus on the same premise as the movies, with new, younger characters led by 20-year-old DREAMer Jess Morales. The series will be written by Cormac and Marianne Wibberley — who wrote the screenplays to the two Nicolas Cage movies.
Dick Wolf Fans Rejoice
There are those who can never get enough of the crime series creations from the remarkably prolific Dick Wolf. As if his Law & Order franchise weren’t a big enough hit, his FBI franchise is now burgeoning, with CBS giving the green light to a third series in the franchise, called FBI: International. The network also ordered new seasons of FBI and FBI: Most Wanted. Hey why mess with success?
Killing Killing Eve
It would be a bold move but perhaps (ulp!) Eve will finally succumb. It was recently revealed that the fourth season of Killing Eve, the award winning season on AMC/BBC starring Sandra Oh and Jodie Comer, will be its last. The final, eight-episode final season is slated to premiere in 2022. But don’t mourn the loss just yet… it’s rumored there are plans to develop a spinoff.

JoJo and ‘The Big D’
You know how we love us some JoJo Fletcher, so you can be sure we’ll be watching The Big D, a 10-hour dating competition show on TBS to be hosted by Bachelorette couple Fletcher and Jordan Rodgers. Production is underway in Costa Rica. “After a year full of challenges, the opportunity to join forces with TBS and help people find love was a no-brainer,” said Fletcher and Rodgers in a statement. “We’re excited to go on this adventure in paradise with romantic hopefuls as they step out of their comfort zones and face unconventional dating scenarios in hopes of finding new love.”
