We'll Miss Neil Patrick Harris Over in Sherman Oaks
It looks like singer/dancer/actor host Neil Patrick Harris and his family will be spending more time in their Harlem brownstone now, since they recently sold their traditional two-story home in the hills of Sherman Oaks. Long standing conventional wisdom about L.A.’s entertainment industry residents says that movie stars live south of Mulholland, and TV stars live north of Mulholland, in “The Valley,” and Patrick Harris was no exception to that rule, but it looks like his Broadway stardom is taking him away from the Hollywood scene altogether.
His family, which includes Harris’s partner David Burtka and their adorable twins, enjoyed this 4,191 square foot, six bedroom, five bath home since they bought it about four years ago for $2.1 million. It’s quite the family play house, with fun kiddie rec equipment outside, and a secret magic man cave inside–just the thing for this familial neighborhood. It was no surprise then, that after only about ten days on the market, Patrick Harris got his asking price of $2.995, making a tidy profit. We wish them well on the East Coast.
