The hits just keep coming. It was hard to narrow it down to just 5 great new shows on Apple TV+,  and with new series and movies premiering every week, we’ll have to make a new list soon.

For now, we’ll tantalize you with the ones that are closest on the horizon — it’s one of the best rosters we’ve ever seen anywhere on the small screen.

Their stars don’t get any bigger, and include Harrison Ford, Meryl Streep, Kit Harington, Daveed Diggs, Edward Norton, Diane Lane, David Schwimmer, Keri Russell, Marion Cotillard, Forest Whitaker, Julianne Moore, John Lithgow, Tobey Maguire, Arian DuBois, Ben Harper and Judd Hirsch.

We’ve picked the five that we’re most excited about, to give you something to look forward to. Some of them we’ve seen, some of them we haven’t, but we’re betting they’ll all be big hits.

5 Great New Shows on Apple TV+ That You Won’t Want to Miss

Shrinking —  new comedy series

Shrinking is the new 10-episode comedy starring starring Jason Segel and Harrison Ford, and I think it’s one of the best new comedies out there right now.

It follows a grieving therapist (played by Segel) who starts to break the rules and tell his clients exactly what he thinks. Ignoring his training and ethics, he finds himself making huge, tumultuous changes to people’s lives … including his own.

In addition to Segel and Ford, “Shrinking” stars Christa Miller, Jessica Williams, Michael Urie, Luke Tennie, and Lukita Maxwell.

Shrinking premiered globally Friday, January 27, on Apple TV+, and they’re airing new episodes every Friday.

Sharper – new Apple Original Film

Hailing from Apple Original Films and A24, and starring starring Academy Award-winner Julianne Moore, Sharper unfolds within the secrets of New York City, from the penthouses of Fifth Avenue to the shadowy corners of Queens. Motivations are suspect and expectations are turned upside down when nothing is as it seems.

Sharper is directed by Benjamin Caron and features a star-studded ensemble cast led by Moore, Sebastian Stan, Justice Smith, newcomer Briana Middleton and John Lithgow.

Sharper premiered in select theaters February 10, and globally on Apple TV+ on February 17, 2023.

Hello Tomorrow — new comedy series

Starring and  executive produced by Emmy and Critics Choice Award winner Billy Crudup (The Morning Show), Hello Tomorrow! Is a new 10-episode, half-hour dramedy set in a retro-future world that centers around a group of traveling salesmen hawking lunar timeshares.

Crudup stars as Jack, a salesman of great talent and ambition, whose unshakeable faith in a brighter tomorrow inspires his coworkers, revitalizes his desperate customers, but threatens to leave him dangerously lost in the very dream that sustains him.

The ensemble cast starring alongside Crudup includes Haneefah Wood, Alison Pill, Nicholas Podany, Dewshane Williams, Emmy Award winner Hank Azaria, Matthew Maher, and Academy Award nominee Jacki Weaver.

Hello Tomorrow made its global debit on Friday, February 17, 2023 with the first three episodes, followed by one new episode weekly, every Friday through April 7, 2023 on Apple TV+.

Extrapolations — new drama series

Extrapolations is a bracing drama that introduces a near future where the chaotic effects of climate change have become embedded into our everyday lives.

Eight interwoven stories about love, work, faith and family from across the globe will explore the intimate, life-altering choices that must be made when the planet is changing faster than the population.

Every story is different, but the fight for our future is universal. And when the fate of humanity is up against a ticking clock, the battle between courage and complacency has never been more urgent. Are we brave enough to become the solution to our own undoing before it’s too late?

The star-studded series stars Meryl Streep, Sienna Miller, Kit Harington, Daveed Diggs, Edward Norton, Diane Lane, Tahar Rahim, Yara Shahidi, Matthew Rhys, Gemma Chan, David Schwimmer, Keri Russell, Marion Cotillard, Forest Whitaker, Eiza González, Indira Varma, Tobey Maguire, MaameYaa Boafo, Heather Graham, Michael Gandolfini, Cherry Jones, Gaz Choudhry, Ben Harper, Judd Hirsch and Neska Rose.

Extrapolations will premiere with the first three episodes on Friday, March 17, followed by new episodes weekly, every Friday through April 21, 2023.

Schmigadoon! – season two

The first season was a riot, and we are SO up for a more! The second season of Schmigadoon!, the Emmy and AFI Award winning, hit musical comedy series from co-creator Cinco Paul, is back for season two with six new episodes featuring all new original songs and guest stars.

Having found true love in the town of Schmigadoon, season two of Schmigadoon! will find Josh (Keegan-Michael Key) and Melissa (Cecily Strong) in Schmicago, the reimagined world of ’60s and ’70s musicals.

The second season of Apple’s broadly acclaimed comedy will include new original musical numbers, as well as returning stars Cecily Strong, Keegan-Michael Key, Ariana DeBose, Martin Short, Kristin Chenoweth, Alan Cumming, Ann Harada, Jane Krakowski, and Aaron Tveit.  Tituss Burgess and Patrick Page join the cast for season two.

Schmigadoon! returns for season two on Friday, April 7.
