Three things I love, and not necessarily in this oder, are savvy entrepreneurship, artistic creativity, and gorgeous goodies that you can’t find just anywhere. So, like Viola Davis, I can’t help but be drawn to the unique products The Artisan Group introduces at the GBK celebrity gifting suites.
It’s really quite a clever concept. Savvy business owner Valerie Guerrero provides owners of artisan businesses the chance to introduce their products to celebrities, industry leaders, VIPs, and members of the press (like me) through participation in celebrity gift lounges honoring the Academy Awards, the Golden Globes the Primetime Emmys, etc. It would be difficult for the individual artisans to afford their own displays at these gifting suites, but because The Artisan Group takes a collaborative approach, they share the exposure and the expense.
So how does this pay off for the artisans? Their products can be seen in countless TV shows, movies, and in articles like this one. These creative suppliers and artists, many of whom sell on Etsy, get priceless exposure.
And most of the products are so lovely and unique, recipients can’t wait to wear or use them. The coveted Artisan Group bags are packed with handcrafted products including jewelry; bath and spa products; designer stationery and paper goods; crocheted accessories; clutches, purses and totes; hand-poured candles; hand-bound books and journals; illustrations and paintings; hand-dyed scarves; fine art photography; hair accessories; and pet accessories and toys. As a gifting suite vet, I can honestly tell you that the Artisan Group bag is one of THE most coveted items of the entire awards season. Just take a look at some of examples of the precious products given out — all in one bag:
