Saving Face With SoniClear

Soniclear Brush_ with stand_orange copyOne of the best products I was introduced to at GBK’s Emmy gift lounge is the brand new SoniClear from Michael Todd True Organics, “The world’s first anti-microbial sonic cleansing system.” I know, you’re probably already cleaning your face with that other “sonic” skin care device, and you probably love the effect it has on your skin, but, if you’ve had it for any length of time, you’re not loving the funky smell it seems to be emitting, even though you clean it thoroughly and change the brushes often. Although I’ve only been using (and loving) mine for a few days, its “antimicrobial” properties promise no funky smell. And get this: SoniClear is less expensive than its competitor! It’s only $150, as opposed to the $200+ the other guys charge.

I chatted with Company Founder Lewis Hendler, who also founded and sold SCUNCI International. (Don’t tell me you don’t have a drawer full of SCUNCI clips, combs and hair ties–I know I do). He says he’d never sell anything he wouldn’t use himself, which is ammunition for me to get my husband to use the SoniClear too. It comes with two brushes that you don’t have to replace as often as the competition’s. It also comes in two colors so far, lavender and “Orange is the New Black,” as pictured. I’m told it will be available in other colors soon. Seriously, if you’re thinking of buying a new one or replacing your old one because of the stench, look no farther.

Now Michael Todd Organics also has a complete skin care line with cleansers, moisturizers, masks, peels, body products, etc. I can’t speak to their quality, because I haven’t tried them yet. If there’s anyone out there who has, I’d enjoy hearing about them. All I know is that I’m absolutely loving my new SoniClear, and can’t even give away my old device, because its smelly. This girl is a convert!
