Taylor Sheridan’s New THE MADISON to Gallup Forth

Could this show starring Michelle Pfeiffer, Kurt Russell and Beau Garrett be your next favorite Taylor Sheridan series? I’m thinking it might be mine—after Land Man, of course.

Since I’ve been writing a lot about great American ranch families lately, I’m more excited than ever to watch the new addition to the Taylor Sheridan Universe, The Madison.

Recently Paramount+ announced that the profound love story, channeled through a deeply personal family drama about resilience and transformation, will premiere globally on Saturday, March 14th, exclusively on Paramount+.

The Madison Cast

It doesn’t hurt that it stars Oscar and Critics Choice nominee Michelle Pfeiffer and Golden Globe Award nominee Kurt Russell.

In addition to Pfeiffer and Russell, the series stars Beau Garrett (Firefly Lane), Elle Chapman (A Man Called Otto), Patrick J. Adams (Suits), Amiah Miller (War for the Planet of the Apes), Alaina Pollack (The Surrender), Ben Schnetzer (3 Body Problem), Kevin Zegers (Power), Rebecca Spence (Lady in the Lake), Danielle Vasinova (1923) and Matthew Fox (Lost).

The Madison

The show is described as “Sheridan’s most intimate work to date, unfolding across two distinct worlds – the beautiful landscape of Montana  and the vibrant energy of Manhattan – as it examines the ties that bind families together.”

The six-episode first season will introduce the Clyburn family, and is “a heartfelt study of grief and human connection following a New York City family on a river valley in central Montana.” according to a press release from Paramount+.

The series is produced by Paramount Television Studios, 101 Studios and Bosque Ranch Productions—the latter belongs to Sheridan himself, and is named after his massive Texas Ranch, the filming location for many of his shows, including, I suspect, this one.

The New York/Montana series is executive produced by Taylor Sheridan, David C. Glasser, John Linson, Art Linson, Ron Burkle, David Hutkin, Bob Yari, Christina Voros, Michael Friedman, Michelle Pfeiffer, Kurt Russell and Keith Cox.
