David Hasselhoff Lists His Hidden Hills Home…and it's Relatively Reasonable

David Hasselhoff Lists His Hidden Hills Home After only two years and one major master suite remodel, David Hasselhoff is ready to sell his custom French Mediterranean near Calabasas. You know he’s serious about the sale, because he’s not asking all that much, relatively speaking. Listed at $2,299,000, it’s quite the reasonable price for the Hidden Hills West gated community, one of the hottest celebrity family enclaves in the Los Angeles area.

The Hoff purchased the five bedroom, six bathroom, 5,767 square foot home in 2013 for $1.95 million and promptly oversaw a complete remodel of the master suite, which now features a fireplace, balcony and a large walk-in closet, along with a sleek, contemporary bath.

The home was originally built in 1990, and all the rest of the bathrooms have been remodeled as well, as has the large, eat-in kitchen with the adjacent breakfast room. Other interesting features include travertine and wood floors, plantation shutters and a two-story entry with a grand, curved staircase. There’s an office, an upstairs bonus room with built-ins and a family room with a wet bar and hardwood floors. The sunken living room also has hardwood floors on which you can almost hear the sound of the Hoff’s famously bare footsteps.

The generous lot measures a little over and acre and a half, and features a pool with rock waterfalls and a spa, large patios, lush landscaping and a large, grassy play yard. Red one-piece tank suits and trunks are optional. There’s also a full basketball court on the premises. It’s a great home for an active family, be they celebrity or just normal folk like the rest of us.

We’re guessing the reason David Hasselhoff lists so soon after buying is that he’s spending a lot more time across the pond in Great Britain these days, where he’s starring in his own comedy reality show, Hoff the Record. The IMDB description of it reads, “30 years after rising to fame in Knight Rider and Baywatch, the series follows The Hoff as he moves to the UK to get his career back on track and make sense of his increasingly surreal life.” Hasselhoff has been big in Europe since 1980, and has even had a substantial recording career there.

Hoff’s property is represented by Barbara Alpert of Coldwell Banker. See CaliforniaMoves.com for more details.
