Live Like a Rockstar in Rihanna's Rental

For a mere $13 million, you too could experience the glitz and glamour of the rockstar life. Rihanna’s rental on a gated and private Pacific Palisades knoll with amazing views has recently come back on the market after being on again, off again. It’s estimated that the eight-time Grammy winner was willing to fork over $65,000 to $100,000 per month for the privilege of living there for an undisclosed amount of time, and if that’s the going rental price, you might be able to think of it as income property.
Of course, if you bought this house, you probably wouldn’t want to leave it. It’s sleek, sexy and super clean, with seven bedrooms and nine bathrooms in 11,000 square feet of living space, connected by an elevator. The two-story entryway has a double sweeping staircase, for all those grand entrances you’d be making.

It also has 14-foot ceilings and walls of glass throughout and one of the most massive, open, living and dining areas we’ve ever seen–it can seat 16!

In addition, there’s a spacious media/game room, and a roof top sun deck. Oh the parties you could throw! They’d be serviced by the gourmet kitchen with top-of-the-line appliances, of course.
And when the master of the house wants to retire, there’s a luxurious grand suite with a double-sided fireplace, private patio, and a gigantic, red closet, although we’re not sure how clothes would look on you with that ruby-colored reflection bouncing off the walls. Good thing there’s plenty of natural light in the rest of the room, the better to see you with, my dear.

Outside there’s a resort-worthy swimming pool and spa, with a rain water wall, jet fountains, a cabana, and even incredibly canyon views, with mature foliage surrounding to keep the place pretty much paparazzi free. The lot is about three-quarters of an acre.

If only the property would have come to our attention back in 2004, when it last changed hands for a paltry $1.32 million. Of course, that was for the lot only. The mansion came later, in 2009.
Joyce Rey and Nadia Emelia of Coldwell Banker and Bachir Oueida of Nelson Shelton & Associates have the listing. Find out more about Rihanna’s rental here.

Love following Lisa’s reviews of these homes. It’s better than ‘People’ or other mag coverages.
