Fabulous! Go Inside Jennifer Aniston’s Bel-Air Mansion — And Drool
We got a rare peek inside Jennifer Aniston’s Bel-Air mansion, worth $21 million, on an Instagram post that showed her preparing for the Emmy Awards.
Jennifer Aniston has offered an incredibly rare peek inside her stunning Bel-Air home, inviting fans and Instagram followers inside the property while sharing a video of her preparation process for the 2024 Emmy Awards.
The 55-year-old “Friends” star has been very discreet about her private personal residence, a 10,186-square-foot, midcentury modern mansion on a 3.27-acre lot in the Bel-Air neighborhood of L.A.
But while documenting her pre-Emmys routine in a video on her Instagram account, “The Morning Show” actress inadvertently shared a tour of some of the immaculately designed spaces that lie within her enviable abode.
Jennifer Aniston‘s Bel-Air mansion, built in 1968 and designed by renowned architect A. Quincy Jones, is hidden behind tall hedges and high gates, ensuring maximum privacy for Aniston, who used the home as the location for her 2015 wedding to Justin Theroux.

But every now and then, Aniston gives us a sneak peek inside, as she did in her latest Instagram video, which shows her primping for the 76th annual Prime Time Emmy Awards, getting her makeup done and shimmying through the living room in her much ballyhooed Oscar de la Renta gown and Tiffany & Co. jewelry.
Behind her, you catch glimpses of the gleaming white gallery walls decorated with modern sculptural artwork and rich wood floors underfoot.
In one shot, fans catch a glimpse of her sauntering out of a stately study with dark floor-to-ceiling bookcases, arms outstretched.
She can also be seen embracing her good friend Kristin Hahn, “Morning Show” producer, standing on a chic silk rug in her living room in front of floor-to-ceiling windows, which have sweeping views of the Los Angeles Basin and the ocean beyond.
She’s seen with Hahn once again, exiting the mansion through geometrically patterned glass front doors, assumedly heading toward the Peacock Theater for the ceremony, where she was nominated for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series. Anna Sawai of “Shōgun” won top honors.
Coming home afterward to her stylish seven-bathroom, 11-bathroom mansion must have been cool consolation for Aniston, who has been nominated at the Emmys 10 times. She won one for Best Actress in a Comedy Series, for playing Rachel Green on “Friends.”
Aniston purchased the dazzling real estate gem in 2012 in the early stages of her relationship with Theroux. The couple divorced in 2018. Realtor.com® records indicate she paid $20,970,000 for the marvelous manse, and estimate it’s now worth anywhere from about $18 million to $27 million.
According to Architectural Digest, Aniston collaborated with favored designer Stephen Shadley to renovate the home, being careful to keep the original midcentury vibe intact.
The refresh included adding hand-painted wallpaper, silk rugs, and abstract paintings.
Other chic features include a lavish courtyard, gardens, landscaped terraces, an inviting pool, and a separate guesthouse.
In an interview with AD in 2018, Aniston opened up about the interior design process, gushing about how much she enjoyed helping to curate the spaces in her home.
“If I wasn’t an actress, I’d want to be a designer. I love the process,” she said. “There’s something about picking out fabrics and finishes that feeds my soul.”
As for what drew her to the home, Aniston explained that she initially shied away from the “dramatic” design touches, but ultimately decided that the home was too special to pass up.
“It had a very dramatic entry sequence that led to this massive front door painted in Chinese red,” she shared. “Aesthetically, it was the furthest thing from what I wanted, but I immediately had the sense that it could work. It’s hard to describe, but I felt a connection.”
Her own preferred aesthetic? “Sexy is important, but comfort is essential,” she revealed.
The actress added that when it came to the overall “flow” of the home, she wanted to ensure that “you have an experience” every time you turn a corner and enjoy unparalleled views from the home’s hillside location.
Although rare, Aniston’s latest Instagram video is not the only time she has brought fans and followers inside her home. Over the years, she has shared a few sneak peeks of the property, as well as its perfectly landscaped exterior, which boasts a large swimming pool, incredible terrace, and lush green gardens.
She has also shared a glimpse of her well-equipped home gym, where she regularly works out to maintain her enviable figure.
In addition to her Bel-Air home, Aniston owns an elegant Montecito spread, for which she paid $14.8 million. It’s a four-bedroom, 3.5-bath, Tuscan-style farmhouse that was built in 1998, and, like most Hollywood stars, has had a good degree of reconstructive work done.
