Ashley Tisdale Lists Her Chic Hollywood Hills Compound for $6.8M
Actress Ashley Tisdale is ready to let go of her luxurious Los Angeles oasis. She and her husband, singer Christopher French, have put the Architectural Digest-featured home on the market for $6,799,000.
The musical couple purchased the posh home in Nichols Canyon in September 2022 for $6,150,000. And they proceeded to make the four-bedroom, six-bathroom dwelling their own.
Snuggled up on a leafy, terraced lot behind double gates, the midcentury modern-style home was built in 1948 and has been renovated over the years. The dwelling now measures 4,114 square feet and includes a spacious office/guesthouse combo.
That office—and Tisdale’s gardens—were the focus of that Architectural Digest article in 2023. The budding designer created a signature space for her interior-design business and wellness brands in a separate, two-story guesthouse/office. She also took advantage of the existing bamboo forest to define an outdoor oasis.
The main house was designed to be flooded with California sunshine, via floor-to-ceiling sliders and windows in the wide-open living room, dining area, kitchen, and bedrooms.
A spacious and open chef’s kitchen features an elegant island with waterfall edges, sleek custom cabinets, marble countertops, and top-of-the-line appliances.
The large primary suite boasts a walk-in closet, luxe bath, and two sliders that open to a private patio.
The two-story guesthouse can function as an independent residence with living and dining spaces, a bedroom, kitchenette, two bathrooms, a laundry area, and media room/playroom.
Lush grounds feature various conversation areas, including one with a fire pit, pool, gardens, fruit trees, a grassy yard, and patio areas. In addition, there’s an outdoor shower, a carport, and additional gated parking, which comes in very handy in this hilly area.
Tisdale, 38, began working in Hollywood as a child, in hundreds of ads and small parts on television and in theater. Her breakout role was on the Disney Channel show “The Suite Life of Zack & Cody.” She achieved even more fame in the “High School Musical” film franchise. She is also a successful recording artist, having released three pop albums.
Tisdale has starred in films, too, including “Donnie Darko” and “Scary Movie 5.”
