Actress Vanessa Hudgens is selling her Studio City, CA, home for $3.9 million. The listing follows her recent purchase of Oscar winner Gary Oldman‘s home in Los Feliz for $5 million.
Hudgens bought the Studio City home for $2.75 million in 2008, when she was fresh off her “High School Musical” franchise success.
Over the past decade, she’s put her own spin on the 5,200-square-foot, Mediterranean-style property. She painted the exterior plaster walls bright white and added Moorish design touches, including hanging Moroccan-style lamps (which come with the home).
The property has easy access to most of the major studios, as well as all the metropolitan perks of the San Fernando Valley on one side of the hills, and West Hollywood on the other.
Terraced decks overlook a pool and spa with a waterfall in back, where there is also an outdoor kitchen.
The indoor kitchen is filled with natural light and features blue cabinetry, an oversized island, and stainless-steel appliances.
There are coffered ceilings, hardwood flooring, and tall, custom windows throughout the home.
Other architectural flourishes include a dramatic staircase in the entryway and three fireplaces—one in the family room, one in the living room, and a double-sided one in the spacious master suite, between the bedroom and the sitting area.
There’s also a comfy home theater with a grand screen, ideal for Netflix and chill.
Hudgens, 30, is starring in the upcoming crime comedy “Bad Boys for Life,” alongside Will Smith and Martin Lawrence. She also serves as a judge on the televised dance competition “So You Think You Can Dance.”
