You may not realize it, but you’ve actually done a video tour of the North Carolina Ricky Bobby Mansion, where they shot one of Will Ferrell’s funniest films.
I proudly admit that one main reasons I’m running this piece on the Ricky Bobby mansion is to give you an excuse to watch one of the funniest clips ever the grace the big screen. I’m talking the famous Bless This Junk Food Baby Jesus scene in Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby. Surprisingly enough, now you can dine where Ricky Bobby (Will Ferrell) dined, because the North Carolina mansion where that scene (and several others) was filmed is on the market for $4.2 million.
The custom-designed 9,802-square-foot home is located on the shores of Lake Norman in Cornelius. The town is right outside of Charlotte, and it’s an area popular with NASCAR personalities and drivers, so it’s no surprise it served as a backdrop for Ricky Bobby’s life.
