Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood's Malibu Home Front Exterior

Okay, we understand that celebrity owners can add to the value of real estate, but I think country power couple Garth Brooks and his wife Patricia Yearwood are overestimating the price of their own panache. They’ve put their rather unremarkable four bedroom, three and a half bath ranch house on the market for a whopping $7.5 million!

That price hardly raises an eyebrow for ocean front property in Malibu, but this is not ocean front — it’s not even ocean view! The 4,326 square foot home does have beach access, a couple hundred yards away. But there’s no pool, spa—not even a built-in coffee maker. For a home that was built in the late ’30’s and refurbished in 2007, methinks they doth ask too much.
